Sonia Mantas spends her summer internship with us, helping to develop some of our biofilm-related projects. Welcome! We had a great summer lunch with the group in the downtown of Donostia.

Irene Toledo joins our group as a PhD student shared with Ivan Sasseli (CFM-Donostia), welcome! Irene will work on de novo design of antibacterial peptide-based hydrogels.​

Victoria presents the work of our group to the general public at the Pint of Science! An excellent opportunity for our friends and family to understand what we are doing, and perhaps excuse us if we are late for a meet-up or family dinner.  

Sofia Ainatzi joins our lab, warm welcome! After completing her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences in Göttingen, Sofia is interested in applying her mass-spectrometry expertise to our research on peptidoglycan synthesis. 

We launched our lab with the first proteins being successfully purified. Thank you, Victoria, for the extensive work behind this picture!
